A powerful way to begin the transformation process of your organization, your leaders, your teams, or individuals is to bring consciousness and awareness to the narratives that form what and who you are. Assessments are a brilliant source of data and insight that provide openings to help you and your organization expand and re-orientate. At Dragonfly Consultants we view assessment as a point of discovery where visible shifts occur and the process of real and sustainable performance improvement begins.
We offer two categories of assessments:
An organizations culture is the most difficult attribute to change, often outlasting the organizations ability to remain viable, and sometimes contributing to the reasons why they fail to meet their objectives. At Dragonfly, we have designed an approach to cultural assessment that seeks to understand the organizations sustainability by examining gender issues. What makes an organizational culture sustainable is its ability to adapt to and be supportive of its relationship to its employees and their community. Our model overlays the political, physical and emotional aspects of culture using three lenses:
- Generational Differences and Commonalities
- Diversity – the level of acceptance of variety
Our comprehensive process includes:
Cultural intelligence is the insight gained from understanding the “voice” of your organizations culture. Listening is the first step towards creating your desired state.
Team and Individual Assessments
These tools help you understand how to evaluate and accelerate both individual and team performance by exploring and measuring current baseline competencies and performance. Our comprehensive assessment tools help you pinpoint and measure key dimensions of individual and team behavior, and can be highly customized to the dynamics of you or your team.
The Energy Leadership Index
The Energy Leadership Index (E.L.I.) is a one-of-a-kind assessment that enables leaders to hold up mirrors to their perceptions, attitudes, behaviors, and overall leadership capabilities. The E.L.I. forms the initial launching point for the Energy Leadership Development System, helping give you a baseline for your current performance and situation. The assessment is based on an energy/action model. It measures your level of energy based on your attitude, or perception and perspective of your world. Because attitude is subjective, it can be altered. By working with a coach using the E.L.I., you can alter your attitude and perspective, make a shift in your consciousness, and increase your energy and leadership effectiveness.
You progress through a debriefing and orientation process that then enables you to plan your development roadmap. You’ll understand the concept of levels of energy, and how they are related to leadership excellence. You’ll then learn how to shift your energy to present yourself in a way that inspires greatness in others.
The Energy Leadership Development System
To complement the E.L.I. Assessment, the Energy Leadership Development System (ELDS) can be incorporated to even further your development to shift your consciousness, attitude, and energy. The ELDS is two-fold, which includes:
- Foundational segments that help you know where you are, realize where you want to be, and recognize and break through any of the blocks that are in the way of your success.
- 8 Building Blocks of the Energetic Leader
Energy Leadership is the process that develops a personally effective style of leadership that positively influences and changes those you work and interact with, yourself, and your entire organization.
EQ Performance 360 (Emotional Intelligence)
How others view you, and how that aligns with your self-perception is a powerful learning tool. Providing both affirmation and opportunities to identify potential opportunities for improvement. A 360 assessment helps leaders to gain deep insight into their own strengths and weaknesses, and motivates them to make changes.
We utilize the Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence Assessment (SEI™). “EQ is the ability to be smart with feelings. How is someone performing with their emotional intelligence? The SEI 360 measures EP – emotional intelligence performance – or the impact of EQ on others. A full-featured multi-rater assessment, the SEI 360 combines a statistically solid model with a practical feedback mechanism.” It only takes 20 minutes to complete.
We expand the utility of this tool and its feedback by inviting our clients to identify raters that see you as a person whose life exists both inside and outside the work environment. Ensuring you have an integrated and holistic representation of who you are and how your behaviors impact your relationships and work.
Dragonfly consultants will provide coaching to help you explore your feedback and design a path to meet your objectives.
EQ-SEI, Emotional Intelligence Tools
We are certified and use the The Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence Assessment (SEI™). A suite of effective tools that measure EQ and equip people with a framework for putting emotional intelligence into action. The tools are used for a broad range of training, coaching, selection, and development needs. SEI is best-in-class because of the blend of strong psychometrics, easy practicality, and global relevance.
Where several other tools provide meaningful feedback, the SEI is unique because it’s not JUST feedback, it delivers a process framework that equips people to actually USE emotional intelligence. The SEI also links EQ to real life; it includes two questionnaires, an assessment of current “success factors” (e.g., effectiveness and relationships) and the EQ measure; this puts EQ in the context of important work & life outcomes, providing the “so what?” to make EQ relevant.
Myers Briggs Indicator (MBTI) Assessment Tool
One excellent personal assessment tool for employees, managers, and executives is the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), a popular and fascinating assessment tool that helps people self-identify:
- How they prefer to direct or conserve their energy
- How they process and organize information
- How they tend to make decisions
- How they prefer to interact with people
- What "blind spots" they have as a result of these preferences
In addition to Personal Assessments using the MBTI, Dragonfly Consultants has multiple applications and exercises that use the Myers Briggs Type Indicator - MBTI with teams.
Thomas-Killmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI)
The world’s best-selling assessment for understanding how different conflict-handling styles affect interpersonal and group dynamics. The TKI model is based on a five-category scheme for classifying interpersonal conflict-handling modes: competing, collaborating, compromising, avoiding, and accommodating. It is also a fast and powerful tool that can go beyond conflict management to support your team-building, leadership and coaching goals.
